Mrs. Anita is much inclined towards the business model and looks forward to making it big, and even Covid has not stopped Anita from doing what she wants. She doesn’t believe in giving up, which in itself is very encouraging.

Give a brief introduction about you and your brand.

Jean Claude Olivier is a luxurious, high-end Spanish salon brand operational in 7 countries and launched in India in 2019. With over 32 years of experience in Hair Dressing, Beauty and professional Aesthetics, Spanish salon brand Jean Claude Olivier are the first choice of many European A-listers, Celebrities and Socialites, including Lionel Messi, Ariana Grande, Cara Delevingne, Gerard Piqué, Luis Suárez, January Jones to name a few. They are also the official Hair Styling Partner for the FC Barcelona Soccer team. Along with Jean Claude Olivier, we also got Postquam Cosmetic, a world-leading brand in beauty and hairdressing, used exclusively in Jean Claude Olivier India. Postquam products are present in 65 countries worldwide, and Jean Claude Olivier India holds its distribution rights in India.

What is your brand’s business model, and give us some insights on its offerings?

Our business model is the simplest; we are a one-stop solution for all your salon needs. We have a wide range of products which includes hair care ranges like hair colours, scalp treatments/shampoos and conditioners for all types of hair. We also cater to all skin types, and we have some fantastic skin ranges: pure 24-carat gold range and the caviar skin range, which is a hot-selling range. We use only Postquam products for skin products, which are the best in the world. Most of the products used in our Salon are from Spain; we believe in giving our clients the best service at the best price possible using the best quality products.

What are the future goals and planning of the company?

Ever since we launched the brand in India, we have never looked back. We have grown strength to strength, and we plan to have 100 salons across India by 2026. Our plans have been a little derailed because of the Covid 19 infection, but somehow, we have overcome it and seeing an upward trend. We, as a company, also want to lay a platform for everyone who wants to make a career in the salon industry.

What are the milestones achieved by you throughout the journey?

Our most significant achievement as owners is to get the luxury salon to launch in India and survive Covid 19. Also, getting Postquam Cosmetic to India will change the way cosmetic products are produced and consumed in India. It has been an exciting journey, and all of us are working very hard to make sure we give our clients a once in a lifetime experience.

A word of advice you’d like to give to the people at the start of their journey?

There is no substitute for hard work. There will be days when things will be against you, and it is these days where you have to keep your morale’s high and not give up. Have a strategy and a plan and stick to it. You will need to adjust the plan as you go depending on the situations that arise but never leave your goal out of sight.
